No lip service here – this T speaks for itself! 🙂
When you find super cute, inexpensive themed t-shirts, scoop up your favorites! This $5.00 glittery Walmart find was the layering piece I needed under my glam crocodile pattern motorcycle jacket, a major clearance score from JC Penney.
Check out even more budget clothing/accessory buys online at PennyChic.com with Shauna Miller. 🙂 Very cool!

Does MsMona LOVE boots? Absolutely! But what’s a girl with dancer calves to do when all the cutie pie footwear are made for teeny tiny (aka “average”) legs?! Try ’em on anyway, because you never know! 🙂
So, I first glanced over these amazing Steve Madden boots at Ross. I really liked the gray/black distressed combination with the royal blue zipper – super unique! When I saw a similar version at Macy’s, sans buckle at the bottom, I couldn’t believe the difference in price. That was it, I was Ross bound once again! But would they zip up? Yeah Baby! Oh, and the brown/red zipper combo fit just fine, too…
How does that saying go? If the BOOT fits…buy it in every color! 🙂
By the way, just call me “Cookie Monster” – this sweet I.N.C. faux fur was a clearance buy at Macy’s. Remember to take advantage of those “Extra $10 off” opportunities by signing up for online newsletters and special ads!

How I love celebrating with the ladies of WIL! We were extremely fortunate to have Cowboys EVP (and daughter of owner, Jerry Jones), Charlotte Jones Anderson, speak at our luncheon. The topic, “How Passion and Compassion Have Shaped the Dallas Cowboys”, was especially important to hear as we move through the holiday season.
RED was the color of choice – many of the guests looked so festive! I found my International Concepts (I.N.C.) jacket and faux leather-trimmed pants at Macy’s. Less than $25.00 for this sassy stretch duet, originally $188.00! Woo Hoo!
Thank you to Ms. Jones Anderson and the Cowboys for continuing to support the Salvation Army and their Red Kettle Campaign. Many toy and monetary donations were made, and we were so blessed to have been part of it! 🙂

For me, the end of November marks the end of the autumn season. Time to put away a few lighter weight pieces and replenish with those cozier textiles…to accompany my hot chocolate and candy canes, of course. 🙂
But before I bundle up, I enjoyed wearing this flirty little resale find from Clothes Mentor in McKinney! The skirt started out with four ruffles – that is, until I asked my tailor to remove the bottom layer and add it to a $.50 headband. :) Topped off with a denim jacket and cowboy boots, I was ready for my final day of fall!
The holidays have begun! What are you wearing to celebrate?

The Husband is a former military man – government issued uniform, cap and boots = wardrobe complete. So today, he is content with a few pairs of nice jeans and some collared shirts for work. I, however, prefer to have a variety of items on hand for him to choose from, especially during these upcoming winter months of layering for the office. 🙂
He first approved the classic argyle pattern in his socks – a subtle touch of style, visible only while sitting down. The Wife knew he would look awesome in the more gentlemanly argyle patterns, avoiding a too preppy or trendy look. New objective: find $3.00-$10.00 sweaters and vests to add to his closet. Soon, this “Guy’s Guy” was hearing compliments from his co-workers about his rather dapper appearance. 🙂
The Husband is happy when he looks in the mirror AND his wallet.
The Wife SMILES…mission accomplished. 🙂
